I was lucky enough to have grown up in the countryside in Devon where I was surrounded by Dartmoor National Park and the South Coast. I began painting and writing when I was very young and was always inspired by the nature around me. At 15 I moved with my family to Muscat, Oman in the Middle East. This was a very different place but with equal beauty; surrounded by miles of dessert and rocky mountains. The city stretched along the Arabian sea which was full of tropical fish, turtles, dolphins and even sharks, (and it was much warmer than English sea.) The ocean in Oman was what inspired my first collection of artwork which I exhibited and then sold in both Oman and Dubai.
I returned to the UK every summer to work and then moved back to Edinburgh to study Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. Studying architecture taught me to create more refined drawings and I learned more about applied design. I am now studying a Masters in Real Estate Investment and Finance also in Edinburgh and I continue to paint, write and design in my free time.
